The Empire Hotel & Country Club, Brunei.

Brunei – April 2009 – With over 800 employees, the Empire Hotel & Country Club has been providing outstanding services to travellers since 2001.  The hotel has received numerous awards for their golf club and superior services over the years.  Striving for constant improvements in services and facilities, the Empire has built a new addition, a conference hall, to their existing blueprint over the 180 hectares property.  EAS was invited to supply, install and provide testing and commissioning services of the Audio Visual system within this new addition, which comprises of a grand ballroom and 5 VIP/Meeting rooms.

Every VIP/Meeting room is equipped with a projector, a motorized projection screen, wireless microphones, ceiling speakers, amplifiers and switchers.  On top of that, in order to allow flexibility to the system, the equipment installed in individual rooms can be programmed to work as one large system, controlled by a wireless touch-screen colour panel.  EAS has also made it possible for the device to control the lighting and dimming system at the venue by interfacing it with the existing hardware.

The Grand Ballroom is another major component within the new conference hall, it is able to accommodate up to 2,000 seated guests for a formal dinner, and up to 3,000 for cocktail receptions or theatre style seating.  To ensure audio and visual quality in such a large area, EAS has installed a state-of-the-art system with a 12,000 Ansi-Lumens projector, a motorized 10-meter projection screen and two 12” 3-way full range line array speakers at the venue.

The conference hall is officially opened in August, 2009.
